Visit Windsor
When you visit Windsor, you’re visiting the intersection of history and modern growth.
In the 19th century, Windsor was a thriving port town and one of the largest wooden-ship-building economies in the world. Everywhere you looked, you’d find shops, restaurants, pubs, hotels, museums, and parks.
In the 21st century, we don’t have wooden shipbuilding anymore but we still have everything else.
An easy 45-minute drive from downtown Halifax along the 101, you’ll find more to do than you expected.
Windsor can be a whole day unto itself or come through town on your way to (or from) the amazing vistas of the Annapolis Valley.
This neighbourhood has seen centuries of vibrant history. Why not come make more?
